I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant, especially with the lovely birthday treat. However, the room I checked into wasn't ready upon arrival, and I found the shower to be pretty awful. The location was handy for my work, but it could use some ambiance. Overall, it was decent for the price but not without its drawbacks.
Rooms
6.0
When I arrived, my room wasn't ready, which was frustrating. The room itself was nice, but the shower was definitely a letdown.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly welcoming. The barman was polite and provided excellent service. They even prepared a delightful birthday cake for me, which was a lovely gesture.
Location
7.0
The location was convenient for work, but it lacked a cozy ambiance. It felt quite peaceful, but some areas had an unusual dusky smell.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast setup felt a bit chaotic, with guests lining up in the corridors. The food was standard but a little cold, which was disappointing.
Facilities

7.0/10
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the positive side, the staff was absolutely lovely and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The building itself was quite impressive, really giving off that stately vibe as we approached. However, I found the rooms to be a bit sparse, and the dining experience was quite chaotic, which was disappointing. Overall, the charming atmosphere and the friendliness of the personnel made the stay enjoyable, but there were definitely areas that need improvement.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were a good size and well-decorated, but it felt a bit odd having only one bedside table and lamp. The atmosphere was sterile, almost like a hospital room.
Service
9.0
The service was genuinely fantastic. The staff was super helpful and always ready to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Despite the building work happening, they managed to maintain a welcoming ambiance.
Location
8.0
The location was impressive, with a stately approach through a tree-lined drive. There was free parking right outside the reception area, which was practical.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was a bit of a letdown. Breakfast could have been warmer, and the setup felt very disorganized. Queuing in the corridors for breakfast wasn't ideal, and I really wished for a more streamlined service, especially in such times.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were adequate, but with some upgrades in mind, as they're working on improvements. I'll remind myself to check for updates next time.

I had an interesting stay at the hotel. The facilities and location were lovely, being set in beautiful grounds with a tree-lined drive, but accessing my room was quite challenging, especially with the heat and distance involved. The staff were great, but the dining experience could use a bit more attention, particularly during breakfast. Overall, I felt it was a decent stay with a few highs and lows.
Rooms
5.0
My room was on the top floor, and I found it quite stuffy as the windows didn't fully open. It was a trek to get to it through a long corridor and steps, which wasn't ideal.
Service
8.0
The staff at the reception were very helpful and did their best to ensure we were comfortable, though I did have to wait a bit at the desk initially.
Location
9.0
The hotel is set in a beautiful area that feels almost like a stately home, with well-maintained grounds. However, I found the noise from early activities quite disruptive when trying to rest.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was a bit of a letdown for me, as some items were overstayed under heat lamps, leading to dried-out bacon and overcooked eggs. The selection was fine, but the execution fell short.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had nice amenities, and the pool area was well-kept, which I appreciated. It felt like a good place to unwind, even if my room situation was a hassle.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were lovely and spacious, but unfortunately, I was right above the gym, which made things a bit noisy at times. The service left something to be desired, with some staff seeming overwhelmed. The location was quite nice for walking around, and the dining had a great atmosphere, albeit with a few hiccups.

I stayed at this hotel and found the experience to be quite mixed. While the location was peaceful and beautiful, the rooms were very basic and lacking comfort. The service was attentive, but there were a few moments where it seemed like the staff could have been more engaged. Overall, it's a decent option but definitely has room for improvement.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were very basic with uncomfortable beds, and the bathroom needed better maintenance as the toilet took multiple flushes to work properly.
Service
6.0
Service was attentive for the most part, although there were moments when it felt like the managers were not fully present.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated in a quiet area, offering a nice escape from the hustle and bustle, though it's not convenient for walking around to nearby attractions.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a bit of a letdown. I had to ask about seating preferences to avoid being crowded, and the buffet food was left under heat lamps too long, leading to dry bacon and overcooked eggs.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were basic and could use some upgrades to enhance comfort and appeal.
